Welcome to Sundown African Adventures! By booking a safari or any other travel service with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read these carefully to understand your rights, responsibilities, and the guidelines of your booking.
Booking and Payment Policy
- Booking Confirmation: A deposit of [20% of the tour cost] is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due [30 days] before your tour start date. If you book within [30 days] of the departure date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
- Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit card, bank transfer, or PayPal.
- Currency: All prices are quoted in [USD], unless otherwise specified. Any currency conversion fees are the responsibility of the customer.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellation by You: Cancellations must be made in writing. Refunds will be processed according to the following schedule:
- More than 60 days before the tour: [Full refund, minus a processing fee].
- 30-59 days before the tour: [50% of the total cost will be refunded].
- Less than 30 days: [No refund will be provided].
- Cancellation by Us: In rare cases, we may cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances. A full refund or an option to reschedule will be provided in such cases.
Travel Insurance
- Mandatory Insurance: Comprehensive travel insurance is required to cover any personal accident, medical expenses, trip cancellations, and other unforeseen issues.
- Responsibility: The company is not responsible for costs incurred due to insufficient or lack of insurance.
Health and Safety
- Physical Fitness: Participants must be in good physical health and prepared for the physical requirements of the tour.
- Medical Conditions: Guests must inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions. Any personal medication is the responsibility of the guest to carry.
Passports, Visas, and Vaccinations
- Required Documentation: Travelers are responsible for ensuring they have the correct travel documentation, including a valid passport and required visas.
- Health Requirements: Some countries may require specific vaccinations for entry; consult your doctor and local embassy for up-to-date health requirements.
Liability and Limitations
- Inherent Risks: Safari and adventure travel may involve inherent risks. While we prioritize safety, guests participate at their own risk.
- Limit of Liability: Sundown African Adventures is not liable for injury, loss, or damage to personal property or any events beyond our control.
Changes to Itinerary
- Modifications: While we aim to adhere to our itineraries, we reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments to routes, accommodations, and schedules in response to local conditions, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Optional Changes by Guests: Requests for changes after booking are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Code of Conduct
- Responsible Travel: We are committed to responsible and ethical tourism. Guests are expected to respect local customs, wildlife, and the natural environment.
- Right to Exclude: We reserve the right to remove any guest who exhibits disruptive or unsafe behavior, without refund.
Photo and Media Rights
- Media Use: Guests agree that Sundown African Adventures may use photos or videos taken during the tour for promotional purposes, unless they explicitly opt out in writing.
Privacy Policy
- Data Protection: We value your privacy. Personal information collected during booking is used solely for the purpose of arranging your tour and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
